the youngest of five girls... |
My family is one of most important things in my life. I can go to any one of them and feel 100% supported. There are nine years between the five girls, but when we are all together, age doesn't matter. We are a fun-loving, sometimes crazy group of people, but my parents raised us to be moral, intelligent, strong women and I am so grateful for what they have given and continue to give me.

a future teacher...
For now, I am still in school, but I hope to teach high school history one day! I have lived in Kansas almost my whole life and four of the girls in my family have gone to KSU. This school has given us so many wonderful memories. All five girls and my mom were Shawnee Mission East Lancers! For me, teaching is more than just the curriculum. It's about building relationships and being an advocate for students. I want to encourage and inspire teenagers and young adults to pursue their goals and overcome obstacles. |
