HSTRY (now called Sutori)
My lesson is on cyberbullying. Most of what I have to say about cyberbullying is in the Lesson below, but I do want to mention that this is not just an Ed Tech project, I really do believe in sharing this information with students. I am focusing on an 8th grade classroom because I think it is vital for these teenagers to understand the consequences of their decisions BEFORE they go to high school. They are still highly impressionable at this stage and I want my students to grasp how dangerous and detrimental bullying can be on a person's psyche. In addtion to this webinar type day, I will conclude this 2 day lesson with a Socratic seminar. I want these students interacting and speaking with each other. If they are forced to hear these opinions from the mouths of their classmates, they will be more likely to think about a potential victim as an individual before they post something.

Review on Sutori:
Using Sutori (previously HSTRY) was easy! Once I found where all of the tools were, I was able to compile, edit, and reorder all of my information quickly. The program is well-designed and starts with a great tutorial. I was very comfortable using this and it prompted me for links and citations, which I thought was an excellent aspect. For web-based learning with students, I will definitely be using Sutori again!
