This article is an in-depth study and application tool for technology uses in the classroom.
This is Shelly's quick explanation of her job and why she thinks it is important to incorporate technology in classrooms and schools. I would definitely recommend following her and looking out for what she has to say on Technology and Education!

One of the points that Shelly makes is that teachers need to use the same technology as their students. For example, if students are learning how to create a project on their iPads, the teacher should be using an iPad as well to understand any questions or challenges that come up. In addition, just having the shared experience of making the project will help the teacher relate to the students as they present and/or discuss the project.
I love seeing all of the apps I have been discovering over the semester mentioned in this article. It makes me feel like I am doing something right! Things like Google Classroom, QR codes, and Pic Collage were foreign concepts to me a few months ago. Now, I can use them, evaluate their credibility as resources, and even teach others how to use them too.

One of the many things that stuck out to me in Shelly's article was her integration of student artwork. Art is such an important form of expression. With the world turning to technology, I have been fearing the loss of art in schools. Shelly proved to me that art continues to rank highly, which is a relief. Also, it brought life and character to her webpage. Shelly was able to combine student artwork and technology to create story books, video and audio presentations, etc.!
As I start to think about my own classroom, I want to be able to find the technology balance just as Shelly has. She is a great example and resource to remember as I move forward.
