Week Two Review: A Spark of Inspiration
This site was hard for me to follow. Instead of organizing the topics with different pages, the articles are written in one column, organized chronologically. This way of formatting a website seems overwhelming. One of the benefits of this style is that all the information is in one place and can be accessed quickly, but the reader needs to know when the article was written in able to find it on the website.
Amazon Wishlist
One of the articles that I found very useful was about using Amazon to create a wishlist for materials.
The idea is to collect a number of classroom materials, essentials, textbooks, or suggested tools for either yourself as the teacher or for your students. One of the best parts of using this wishlist is the fact that you can share the information and links with the parents of your students. This eliminates confusion and will ensure that students all purchase the correct materials. |
